New Domestic is a full service architecture and design company specializing in all things domestic. Our definition of “home” is your total environment. From architecture, to interiors, to landscapes we shape your sanctuary to be reflective of your lifestyle.
Our team of designers are multifaceted; being trained in architecture, landscape architecture and interior design. This allows us to create unique spaces that make the inside and outside of the home feel inseparable. Our background in fine detailing and customization has also allowed for homeowners to clearly see their vision realized at many different scales. The level of detail for this work can be scaled to suit your budget and design interest. Our flexible design approach can be intense and detailed or loosed and fun.
Our Team
Laura Schmitt Hall
Laura has worked for several high-profile architects including Elizabeth Roberts, Belmont Freeman, and Peter Marino. Through these experiences, Laura has developed a deep understanding of design, especially custom detailing for high-end interiors. Her broad experience extends from NYC to Long Island, Montauk and London including work with The Peninsula Hotels and Chanel. Working directly with contractor and suppliers, Laura has built a reputation as a master of on-site construction coordination that ensures projects are built on schedule, budget and to the highest quality. Laura graduated with a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Arts from Temple University.
Timothy Nawrocki, AIA, ALSA
As a registered architect and landscape architect, Tim brings a unique perspective that is creative and broad. His multidisciplinary approach and collaborative spirit have earned him a reputation for leading complex projects both inside and out. This includes homes, gardens, and amenity spaces around the globe. Tim is also an Instructor at Drexel University where he teaches studios and seminars focused on integrating architecture and landscape into urban contexts. Tim graduated with distinction from Harvard University with a Master of Landscape Architecture and from Temple University with a Bachelor of Architecture. Tim is a registered architect and landscape architect in New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont. He is also is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Landscape Architects.
